Green product certification is a kind of voluntary product certification. It is a product certification comprehensively implemented by the State Administration of market supervision throughout the country, aiming to unify green related certification. The certification object is mainly terminal consumer goods, and products with high consumer concern, urgent need for consumption upgrading, and great impact on ecological environment and human health are selected. According to the policy of unified catalogue, unified standard, unified evaluation and unified identification, the existing products of environmental protection, energy saving, water saving, recycling, low-carbon, regeneration and organic are integrated into green products, and the market is positioned as green high-end product certification.

 

In May 2017, the National Standardization Committee issued the general rules for green product evaluation, which defined the principles for determining the categories of green products, the principles for selecting green indicators, and the requirements for the green indicator framework.

 

In December 2017, GB / t35601 ~ 12 national standards for green product evaluation were issued.

 

In April 2018, the State Administration of market supervision and Administration issued the list of green product evaluation standards and certification catalogue (the first batch) (No. 2 of 2018), which determined the term definition, product classification, evaluation requirements and evaluation methods of the 12 green product evaluations listed in the first batch.

 

Furniture is the first batch of certified catalogue products.

After obtaining the certificate, how long is the certificate valid? Is it necessary to review every year?
After obtaining the certificate, the validity period of the certificate is 3 years, and at least one on-site audit is required every year to keep the certificate valid.
