What is certificati?
Certification refers to the conformity assessment activities carried out by the certification body on products, services and systems in accordance with the requirements or standards of relevant technical specifications. Do all products exported to Europe have to be CE certified?
No, only products involved in the CE Directive/Regulation must undergo CE certification when entering the European Union and the European Free Trade Area, and the CE mark is affixed to the product.
Does the CE certification of CPR building materials products require a factory audit?
No. According to the EU Building Materials Regulation CPR EU 305/2011, products with certification modes of SYSTEM 1+, SYSTEM 1, SYSTEM 2+ require factory audits.
