GAP certification originated in Europe. In 1997, the European retailer production working group (EUREP) put forward the concept of good agricultural practices (EUREPGAP) under the initiative of retailers; In 2001, the EUREP Secretariat published the EUREPGAP standard to the public for the first time; In 2007, EUREPGAP announced to change its name and logo to GLOBALGAP. In 2004, CNCA launched the certification of China good agricultural practice (EUREPGAP) and issued a series of national standards of good agricultural practice in 2005.
GAP certification has been vigorously promoted and implemented by the governments of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Chile and other countries. It is an internationally recognized certification standard for agricultural products. Now more enterprises are joining the ranks. Through gap certification, the standardization level of agricultural production can be improved, and high-quality and safe agricultural and livestock products can be produced, which is conducive to enhancing consumer confidence. GAP certification covers different fields such as field crops, fruits and vegetables, tea, livestock and poultry, aquatic products and ornamental plants. We can provide certification services for enterprises in different fields to improve the market competitiveness of your products, establish a good brand image, and promote the breakthrough of technical barriers and export of agricultural products. According to different certification levels, NOA can provide you with gap level 1 certification and gap Level 2 certification services to meet your certification needs.
Gap is the abbreviation of good agricultural practice. It is a kind of operation standard mainly aimed at the planting and breeding industry of primary agricultural products. It focuses on animal welfare, environmental protection, workers' health, safety and welfare, and ensures that primary agricultural products producers produce safe and healthy products. It is based on hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), good health practices, sustainable development of agriculture and continuous improvement of farm system, to avoid serious pollution of foreign substances and product hazards caused by improper operation in agricultural production.
